WhatsApp Business
WhatsApp is a common channel for notices and reminders. These are the brand's rules for using it.
- Profile name
- Heliodore
- Photo
- The app icon (square version), centered.
- Template category
- Utility (notices the user expects). Marketing and authentication are priced differently and reviewed differently.
- Permission
- Only write to people who agreed to it (opt-in), and offer a simple way to stop receiving messages.
- Data
- No message includes patient data beyond the minimum. Variables are filled in when sending, never in the template.
Template name validator
Verified rules: only lowercase letters, numbers and underscores, up to 512 characters. Templates are reviewed (this can take up to 24 h) and only approved ones are sent; a template can be paused for quality. Source: template documentation. The API changes: confirm before sending.
